50th Unesco site

Since 2014 we have been part of the “Buffer zone” of the 50th UNESCO site; try navigating the map to discover the beauties around our country house:

The viticultural landscapes of Piedmont: Langhe, Roero and Monferrato

The site has been a unique testimony of a living cultural tradition and an exceptional example of the relationship between man and nature for more than two millennia. The vines historically cultivated in the territory, the different types of culture, the prosperity of the places of production and the traditional settlements highlight a “living” landscape, in which every evolution takes place fully respecting and with a  careful balance between tradition and innovation. The wine-growing landscape of Langhe-Roero and Monferrato is therefore the exceptional result of a “wine tradition” that has been transmitted and has evolved from ancient times to today, creating a centre of socio-economic life in the area. The continual search for improvement of the production cycle has led, and still leads today, to the production of wines of excellence and international quality (such as Barolo, Barbaresco, Asti Spumante and Barbera d’Asti). This also thanks to a rich heritage of knowledge and techniques, based on the deep knowledge of the vines which have been cultivated here for centuries (Nebbiolo, Moscato Bianco, Barbera) and their ability to adapt to environmental conditions.
